For mainstream sites the average value is between three and six minutes. Porn sites have an average value three time bigger, between fifteen and twenty minutes per visit.

Volume of data stored: for the biggest sites it should be something between 50 and 200TB  (1 TeraByte = 1024 GigaBytes). More impressive is the capacity of feeding data to the visitors (videos and pictures) without overload or downtime. You Porn (not the biggest) serves more than 100 millions of pages each day, a data transfer of 100TB of data. Network capacity: in the hottest moments You Porn serves about 4,000 pages per second, that means 100GB (800Gbps) of data transfer per second. XVideos bandwidth is bigger, estimated in at least 1.000Gbps (1Tbps). To have an idea of what we’re talking about, the bandwidth of London and New York is “only” 15Tbps. If you think we only analyzed a few sites, the total amount of porn on the Internet is simply enormous, so must be the cost to keep all that infrastructures running. Is the Internet for porn ?
